Cast Spotlight - Greg Goodfried - Week 4

Posted by Greg Goodfried on Tuesday, Jun 30, 2009 at 12:40 pm

I went with Paula, Michael, Bobby and Jamie to Atlanta. It was an amazing experience to hang out with the family. They are as nice in person as they come across on camera. At the event, I got to spend time with tons of Paula fans. It is truly amazing how people look at Paula. She is an inspiration to so many.

I knew about Paula from watching her on the Food Network but I didn’t really know her story until I read her autobiography shortly before meeting her. After I read it, I was amazed at how smart and strong she is; I already knew she was funny and talented. Well, it was an absolute privilege to meet the people at the show. We made a video of the lunch and the time with Paula in the green room before the luncheon.

Below are some pictures from the event that have been posted to Get Cookin’ by Mystie and Peyton’s dad Kevin. Do you have pictures from the event? Post them to your profile page and flag them as “Cool”. If you don’t know how to flag, send me a private message and I’ll help you through it.

  • Getting The Most Out Of The Website
    Hey Y'all!

This site has been around for a few weeks now and it has been so amazing seeing y’all interact on here. As some of you have been saying in the comments, I met a bunch of you at the Atlanta Metropolitan Cooking Show luncheon. We have some great video about that, so we are going to share it with you later this week. I heard the food at the luncheon was good... better have been, they were my recipes! :)

Now Phil, Greg and Jason, the guys who run Get Cookin’ for me, would like to say a few things...

    Bye y’all!

    From Phil, Greg and Jason:

    Hey everyone,

It’s been great seeing all the activity on the site. You are using it just as we imagined. We’re so glad that you are enjoying the videos.

We hope that you are fully utilizing and understanding all the tools and features. If you have any questions about using the site, from issues with logging in, posting videos, to twitter integration, please send any one of us a private message. If you feel you cannot even sign up for the site, email us at jmatthews@eqal.com. Below in the comments, feel free to talk about things we can do to improve the experience. Also let us know what else you would like to see in the videos.

It has come to our attention that a lot of you use Internet Explorer version 6 as your browser. If this is the case, we strongly recommend that you upgrade your browser.

You are our first set of users and can really help us improve the site. We will soon be making some minor changes to the design of Get Cookin’ to make it easier to understand the daily content and weekly video.

Thank you for your support and patience.

    Phil, Greg, and Jason

    ACTIVITY OF THE WEEK

This week’s activity is to ask Phil, Greg and Jason questions so you can get the most use out of this site.
