DINNER LAST NIGHT

  • I made meatloaf and homemade mac and cheese. Oh and veggies.

The mac and cheese was devine. I used a combination of some recipes I found on here.

The seasoned the meatloaf with lots of ingredients, but I should have known better than to buy ground beef at WALMART.

I DON'T KNOW WHY THE MEAT AT WALMART IS SUCH OF BAD QUALITY, ESPECIALLY THE GROUND BEEF. I WILL NEVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN.
  • Ditto!! Its because it was frozen who knows how long and shipped from who knows where
  • I think its worse than bologna meat. I used 2 pks of 90/10 meat and 1 pk of 80/20. When I was mixing this crap my hands were fully of cold grease. I should have dumped it and went to Publix, but I was too lazy to go. I paid for it.

My family hated it. They liked the taste but the texture and the way is looked was like a piece of dog turd.
  • i know what you are saying about the meat from walmart i made meat balls with the hamburger one time and they were awful everyone i know and talk to does not buy their meat from walmart  i do not know why walmart does not know this . the only meat i buy from walmart is smithfield hams and the perdue chickens  other then that no way do i touch any thing else as far as meat from there
  • I don't but the meat at Wal-Mart, either. BUT, I've never had a problem with the meats I've purchased at Sam's Club. You'd think they would be the same.
  • that is funny my kids were talking about that last night they go to sam's club also and they buy there meat there no problem with it . they get a beef tenderloin there and have them cut them for steaks that are out of this world so tender wonder why there is a difference between them and  super walmarts meat ?
  • The only problem I have is with the ground beef.

I bought some thin rib eyes for the grill, and they were great!!!!

  • OMG, I totally agree, WalMart meat is the worst, we thought it was just our store. WalMart Take Heed.
  • I agree with the comments about Wal Mart  ground beef.  However, I but alot of Pork tenderloin and chicken.  No problem there, just ground beef.  I have recently discovered farm raised Buffalo meat.  It is very lean, great taste.  More flavorful than ground beef.  No wild taste, just flavor.  I use ground Buffalo meat in place of ground beef.  Works great.
    Thanks, Karon  (Pink Jersey Lady)
