What is Get Cookin'?

Get Cookin' is a weekly interactive cooking show on PaulaDeen.com. Each week Paula picks a dish, Paula's friends and family talk about the dish, you all submit your versions of the dish, Paula cooks the dish, and Paula picks her favorite submissions from the community. Simple as that!

Getting Involved

Every Thursday on Get Cookin', Paula will pick one of her favorite dishes. For the next seven days, Paula will talk about the dish, have friends and family talk about the dish, and cook the dish in a video. Paula's cooking video is posted the following Wednesday. When Paula announces the dish on Thursday, members of the PaulaDeen.com community are challenged to come up with their own creative versions of the dish.

Submitting Your Dishes

Over the course of the week, you can upload photos, videos and recipe blogs to your profile, showcasing your version of the dish. Instructions for uploading content to your profile can be found below.

Once you post your submission, you must Flag it as 'Cool'. To Flag the submission, go to your profile page and click on the photo, video and/or recipe blog. On the page where the content is displayed, look to the right and you will see the 'Flag' icon. Clicking on the 'Flag' icon will show you different options, please click 'Cool'. Dishes MUST be submitted by Tuesday at 3pm EST.

Some of the User Submissions will be featured in the "Community Dishes" section. Every Wednesday Paula will pick her favorite submission(s) and announce the Activity Challenge winner(s) on the Get Cookin' page.

Of course, Get Cookin' welcomes anyone and you do NOT have to interact to enjoy the experience. Just come to the site, browse through the "Episodes," and watch Paula's videos and the great content made by community members. You can come every day, once a week, or as often as you want.

Sign up and get cookin’ (don’t worry, it’s easy and free).
